Also, I had my first "behind the handlebars" Motorcycle Safety Foundation course on Saturday morning, in the freezing pouring rain. I did not:

1) Die
2) Crash into anything
3) Drop my bike

Overall a success, though I'm still terrified.

I was pretty afraid of driving a car for quite awhile when I was first learning. I'm sure it'll pass.

Congratulations!

When I first started, it took me several weeks until I stopped picking my routes so that they'd be as straight as possible. I was afraid of turns!

I guess I should have added the main point: Getting over it was totally worth it :-)
