I'm the only thing standing between a little plant and wilty death. Since I have to stare at it every day at work, I water it. During the weekend when I don't come in to work, it shrivels up into a droopy wreck of a plant. This is such an amusing post-- I love the flower timeline pictures! I definitely chuckled when I saw the part about how you couldn't ignore its wilted state. Flower savior, lol! :P

Good luck with the panel! It's last minute, but I usually get an extra prize or two for my kimono panels by going around earlier in the day the day of the panel and asking related dealers (or artist alley folks) if they'd like to donate a small prize in exchange for talking about them when I give the prize away.

That a really good idea. I'm trying to focus the prizes around the theme of morigirl/dolly kei/natural kei stuff, so IDK if I'll find many suitable vendors at Otakon, but it's totally worth a shot! Thank you for the tip :33

I think that interpretation may be attributing selfless motives to me that I don't possess >:]] Maybe I water it and watch it die and then water it again because I'm a sick control freak? haha

Hmmm....that's kind of twisty and dark. Kind of like a Grimm's Fairy Tale which is totally in keeping with the Martha I know. ;)

Although in my case, I have a very hard time letting plants die. Even plants I don't like.
