And that is reason number 98479874084 why I cannot go with the Doctor.

THIS, however, was brilliant. And I love the Doctor talking about all the things about Kennedy, about his sister and all that stuff. Um, mostly I just want to say history is fucking awesome. I'm sorry. I would have more to say about the actual fic itself, but. *flails* HISTORY.

Ha, I totally understand. That's why I can never write historical pieces, because I get distracted by all the awesomely awesome HISTORY.

(The bit about Kennedy's head is because I had a teacher who made us watch the Zapruder film ONE TOO MANY TIMES. D:)

Have you read Assassination Vacation by Sarah Vowell? If not, I highly recommend it - it's a nice, easy read, and absolutely brilliant.

OH MY GOD. OH MY GOD. For my 13th birthday, all I wanted was to meet Sarah Vowell so my mom drove me two states over to see her speak and I got to meet her in person and *flails*

Yes. Assassination Vacation is one of my FAVORITE BOOKS EVER, and definitely my favorite non-fiction thing ever. It's where I just absorbed everything I know about the Lincoln assassination (um, yeah. .44 caliber derringer. I'm kind of a freak). Just. Yeah. *flails*
