Mod Post - Introduction and Information.
Hello, loverlies. *waves* I'm Raine, and I'll be your new moderator. I just wanted to do a small post to say hi, to give you some info and ask a couple of questions.
Some of you might know me from plusone_lims, my other LIMS community, dedicated to Rose and the Doctor. Before that I'd never run one before, so I'm still a little new. If I make a mistake every now and again, forgive me. I'm pretty kind, though I'm a perfectionist (except when it comes to dates, I constantly forget them), so if something is wrong I'll tell you. I love talking and interacting with people, so if you see me being completely random, or if I go on and on in a comment, well, its me being friendly. ^^; This is a competition but its for bragging rights and a bannerfun, so I say we should all enjoy it.
I've decided that the new round will start this Sunday, the 23 of September, when sign ups and skip chances will be posted, to give everyone a few days to take a small break. After that, well, we'll go from there. ^^;
I'm looking for a co-moderator. I'd prefer someone who likes Martha (duh), and who has some spare time. You don't really have to have a lot of experience on LIMS communities, if you do, fantastic, but if you don't, it won't count against you. I'm also looking for banner-makers. But the applications have a bit more required information than co-mod applicants (I'd need to see a sample of your work).
I wanted to ask all the members what things you like and/or don't like about this community. A certain rule, or a certain way something is done. This is your chance to give feedback, so I can change what needs to be changed before the new round starts.
