Grudges. . . and things like that.

My ex was an expert at holding grudges. He learned it from his father. Truth be known, he would go into a rage if anyone ever suggested that he was anything like his Dad. But, there's the proof. I hear you! On both counts... ex and children.

It always amazes me the difference in perception... the adult doing the talking (or not) and the child and what they hear (or vice versa). Kids pick up the weirdest stuff... and then hold onto it for years/decades/a lifetime. Weird, isn't it?

As for exes... yes, good for you. Good for you that he's an ex. I think that for myself quite often.

I'm not expecting that to happen any time soon. On the other hand, we are not estranged. . . so it's not as bad as it could be. If it was, I would really miss my two granddaughters quite a bit.
