Angel's Room at the Arms - Monday Morning

Oct 13, 2008 10:24

Normally, waking up in bed with someone to snuggle with was a good thing.

This morning, however, Veronica realized who was in bed with her. And why.

And sat straight up, trying to figure out what to do.

[for the other person in the bed]

Angel was still sleeping the blissful sleep of ignorance.

Not too blissful or else it wouldn't be Angel doing it. But you know what we mean. Point being he wasn't awake yet.

Okay, Angel was sleeping.

All Veronica had to do was quietly slip out of the bed, find her clothes and go back to her own room. Maybe she could convince him it was all just a weird dream.

So she slipped out of the bed and started looking for her clothes in the dark room. And promptly stubbed her toe against a piece of furniture.

Angel woke up with a start. "I'm not wearing the uniform!"

Veronica groaned and covered her face with her hands. "Go back to sleep, Angel. You're... having a bad dream."

Hey, it was worth a shot.

After Veronica left, Logan came running in from where he'd woken up. He didn't say a word to Angel, just ran into the bathroom, dropping clothes on the way. Steam soon drifted out from under the door as he took a very, very hot shower.

Angel followed along. "What happened?"

Sadly vampire senses meant he already knew.

After scrubbing, gargling, scouring and repeating, several times, Logan emerged from the shower. "You don't want to know. I don't want to know. D'you think there's bleach around here?" He opened the cabinet under the sink to look.

"You missed a spot," Angel muttered, facepalming.
