Veronica grabbed some sparring gear from the equipment closet and handed Cameron the things he needed before situating her own pads and gloves.

"I cannot believe you're making me do this," she said, again, as she did a few light stretches.

Cameron bounced lightly on his feet, loosening up his muscles. "It's good for you to refresh this stuff," he told.

"I know," Veronica said, rolling her eyes. "And I told you I've been practicing twice a week."

"Then you've got nothing to worry about," he smiled at her. Clearly he wasn't going to buy it until he actually saw it for himself. He fastened the gloves and made sure they fitted right.

"Who said I was worried?" she asked, giving him a look. "I just think there are better things we could be doing with our time."
