Veronica closed Caritas early since it was deader than the Zombie Band.

As she entered the dorms, it occurred to her that a good girlfriend would warn her boyfriend about what was about to be published in the column she wrote in the newspaper tomorrow.

With a sigh, she walked down the 2nd floor hallway and knocked on Logan's door.

She gave him a skeptical look. "Uh huh," she said, her voice heavy with disbelief.

"Well, can I interrupt your studying for a few minutes? I need to talk to you about something."
