Leap and the net will appear.

I discovered this nuggest of wisdom a few years ago, and I adopted it as my own when I quit my day job a year and a half ago. And I am kind of overwhelmed today at how TRUE it is.

To wit:

Oh, I couldn't be happier for you. It seems that the oasis of stability will endure a little longer! I'm still ridiculously impressed that you do what you do and that you did what you did - I know I would never have the cajones to quit my day job because it was interfering with my ability to pursue my true calling. (Which is a little sad...but another story for another time.) In any case, thoroughly delighted for you. Love you bunches!
