Nathans rant about Jack sounds like he first and foremost hates the fact that he isn't like that anymore. Like the world has lost its wonders and spirit after being calculated to near-death by science. Like there's nothing left to simply enjoy without trying to put it into numbers and equations. He' secretly kind of envious of Carter.
I had a professor, who could tell you everything about theoretical computer science, but had to use a pocket calculator to do simple math. And by simple math I mean something like adding 2 and 2. Believe me, it's true. He used a calculator to look if the program we made, gave the correct output and we only had to write a small math program for basic arithmetic.
Anyway, I really like this story. It is funny, especially like Carter chains everyone up, because he doesn't know what else to do and then he and Nathan ended up handcuffed together. ^^ That's one of my fantasies about the two, oh yeah!
I'm glad that people are psychoanalyzing Nathan. It's really cool that I could get people thinking like that. :D

I wouldn't interrupt them, but I would love to use one of those mini-spy cams (or something like Fargo's artificial fly from the episode "Blink"), couple that with a recording device and I'll be happy for a very, very long time.
chick i loved it, the scene in the room with everyone had me in stitches and the end when nathan suddenly reaslised they were no longer alone- my two favourite parts- and of course his rant turned kiss

I was afraid that people would think both Nathan's and Jack's rant parts were too long. In fact, I couldn't tell you what they were because I'm lame like that and didn't save it as two different docs, but I removed some parts because the rants were beyond long. In my opinion.
I missed you, too. It's nice to be missed. I swear that I'm going to try to be faithful to this comm, and not be swayed by others. All other fandoms are to be day trips, not week/month long vacations.
And, I promise to write a sequel for 'Bells and Whistles'. Its set in stone now, which means that I can't back out of it. *Hurray* for no excuses!!! Lol.
Glee! Handcuffs, handcuff fics make for wonderful days, and having them not alone but forgetting it is just icing on the sweet cakey goodness of well made fic. This was enjoyable to read and p.s. I like your- “I have a phD for that icon” Also, poor Fargo. Everyone tries to kill him/ throttle him and he only ever 'accidently' makes a wonky inhibition mental mouse, doomsday, whatever machine that causes some minor havoc but if he wasn't doing it someone else would pick up the slack!!! Then god knows what could happen like more slash.. please ^_^
