The weather today reminds me of fall. I love the fall it is my favorite season. I grew up in New York, and my favorite season there was also fall. I loved the chill in the air, chilly but not yet too cold, and the air smelled so brisk, so clean. I live in Florida now and we really don't get changes of seasons here, but we do get chilly air (by Florida standards, that is) in the winter time. We get temps down in the 60's, 50's, and sometimes even in the 40's in the Florida winter, reminding me of fall in NY.

I grew up in Mobile, Ala and I loved the winters there. I remember wearing sun dresses on Christmas Day. I prefer the winters and spring of where I grew up and prefer summer and fall here in Ohio. There is just something that is so beautiful, romantic and rejuvenating about the fall here.

How close are you to Lake Erie? Does that have anything to do with it?

We are about 40 minutes of Lake Erie. The lake affects the snow

Fall is one of my favorite seasons as well. I love the leaves and the beautiful colors. Hot soup on a crisp afternoon not to mention a quiet walk with the dogs on a brisk morning.
