Does anyone know how to alter a dress to make it actually... fit.

Well first you have to see where you'll be altering the seams, usually involves a bit of pinning fabric.

I can fix coats and shirts easily enough, but dresses are... different.

What's a mall? [He's had to fix all of his own clothes and then learned from Johnny on breaks between missions.] ...Johnny would make it all easier, he designs and sews all sorts of things.

It's a huge building with a bunch of stores in it. So you can buy things. That actually fit.
