Eheheheh... okay, so yeah, it's been a month and a half? Two? I don't do posting on a regular basis well at ALL, but I've made a New Year's "resolution" that I'm going to post SOMETHING once a week. Even if it's just song lyrics or something... *sigh ( Read more... )

What's your favourite colour/sound/texture combination?

Summer midday sky blue. It's this triumphant string chord, I'm not capable of telling you the exact note... it always makes me feel like I'm flying. It's the type of blue that looks like a hard, smooth enameled glaze on cookware...

That's rather gorgeous, that is. *cheerfully furnishes her own imagined chord*

I am the terror that flaps in the night! I am the fangirl that blows into your fandom, writes about five things, and then disappears. I am DARKWIIIIING... wait, sorry, wrong script ( ... )

"I have very mild Asperger's Syndrome."

You too? Huh.

I think it's very common online, because it's EASIER for us to communicate in a forum where we're not supposed to be picking up the clues from people's subtle physical and facial movements. Plus, a lot of us gravitate towards fandoms, and the net is the home of fandom these days. And yes, there are a lot of people who have self-diagnosed, some of which really are Asperger's positives, and some of which are just assholes. :)

Aha! Synesthesia! I remember you telling me about it, and I've read a little about it, but I couldn't remember the name to ask you what it was--hence the combination question.

What's a thing (food, book, show, style of art, anything) that you expected to hate and then miraculously didn't?

I generally don't tend to try anything that I think I'm going to hate. Either I go in expecting nothing, or I just don't try it.

That said... I have for years disliked shrimp. The taste, the texture... Every so often, I'd try one and-- yep, still hate shrimp. Recently, a piece of shrimp sushi came with my 5 piece platter, and since I didn't have anyone to pawn it off on, I ate it. Meh. I don't hate shrimp anymore, apparently, but I don't LIKE it, either.
