Is it so hard for the ticking to stop. Urge to shoot something (probably that clock) rising.
OOC: V's breaking in back for quick post-up! Just a short hiatus break for heeeeer! Sayyyy hi everyone! ALSO! Profile update! Will update with more people for the space bar at the side! ♥

[Veronica makes her way outta the kitchen, hears David's voice. Oh, would you look at that! He's Jumped straight into her place he probably would.]
There you are. [She's got some stuff packed. She's not sure how long the invitation's for, but she's hoping it's valid for a few days, before she might get on his nerves. Burden is a burdern, after all.] Ace is always ready, isn't he?
//Spam mk II//marsattackedSeptember 10 2008, 16:16:09 UTC
Never.
[She has the shame to look a bit abashed at least.]
Just flying low enough until your patience holds on me. I heard I can be intolerable more often than not.
[Veronica isn't exactly the worst of roommates, not even the best, but definitely not one of the worse. But, still. Call this a trial run? Hopefully, it'll be fun if anything.]
//Spam mk II//marsattackedSeptember 10 2008, 16:29:15 UTC
Nothing from me but alternative music, and I quit it out after 11pm, promise. Oh, and I wouldn't attack you in your sleep. [Makes a sign with her fingers against her chest with an innocent smile.] Promise.
[She thinks about it. If he's not going to throw her out, and they like each other well enough, she might as well make it a more semi-permanent thing. Lovely timing, too. Her rent's just about to go for this apartment. And Veronica hasn't been paid for work yet. It's really that door thing that might be a problem.]
[Veronica spins of a heel and walks off to get some more things ready, but not before throwing David a look-back about her bed.] Don't strain yourself, ace. That might make the Jumping thing harder.
//Spam mk II//jumpscarSeptember 10 2008, 16:40:07 UTC
A perfect match then. [Coming from the man who left music blearing whenever he was out of the apartment. Oh well.]
[He could've mentioned something about the possibility of uncovering the door, if it became anything more permanent. Heavy duty doors and locks would work just as well, considering the door was still currently viewable from the outside. But that wasn't something he'd look at for a while. And not if he could help it.]
As long as it's not bolted down or something, I'm sure it wont be a problem. [A grin, salute, and Jump!]
//Spam mk II//marsattackedSeptember 10 2008, 16:49:55 UTC
If I do say so myself. [Veronica calls out from the kitchen, already moving a few choice things from there.]
Take your time, Sir Jumps-A-Lot. I'm not going anywhere. [Salutations back before he goes off his little excursion. [This also brings the question - now, what about Veronica's car. She makes a note of bringing that up with him later if she can. Maybe park it somewhere until she needs it? Who knows. She ponders it about it in her head as she grabs some an apple and goes about packing some more stuff.]
Re: //Spam mk II//marsattackedSeptember 10 2008, 17:00:47 UTC
Upstairs, to your right. [The studio's cozy like that. Everything's neat, if not small, and not as pretty as David's own place. She realizes she needs to help him out with directions, just as he said.] Wait a sec. I'll come up with you.
[Meet an eyebrow back. Really.] Would your prefer Jumper? Doesn't sound as cool, does it? [Veronica says from where she's packing her laptop. She finishes what she's doing and takes a bite out of her apple as she comes to face David before ushering him upstairs with one hand with her following.]
//Spam mk II//jumpscarSeptember 10 2008, 17:18:21 UTC
[He looks up, amused. It couldn't be all that difficult to find under those directions, could it? But he waits regardless. Not his place, so he wasn't about to go snooping. Her job, not his!]
So there's no more All-star then? [Like a good puppy, he does as he's told, heading up stairs as directed.]
//Spam mk II//marsattackedSeptember 10 2008, 17:38:00 UTC
[Another crunch into her apple once more, and Veronica chews religiously. She shuffles up after him, shaking her head behind his form.]
It'll return one day, scout, worry not. [Assurance aside, Veronica's not there to watch over it out of paranoia, but rather, to ensure he knows which of her stuff exactly to bring along to his place out of hers. Since she decided to do a semi-perm move and all.]
Want some? [She offers the pup some apple, as soon as they've reached the top of the stairs.]
//Spam mk II//jumpscarSeptember 10 2008, 17:52:08 UTC
I think we may be in double figures now with the nicknames. [The safer choice there, Veronica. Otherwise everything would eventually be brought over. At the top, he's looking to the doors, before blinking back at the offered treat]
I'm good for now, ma'am. Once moving day's over, maybe.
//Spam mk II//marsattackedSeptember 10 2008, 17:57:32 UTC
By this time, I thought it'd be triple. [Goes about pointing a here, there, and a this and a that of the yes and no's of what to bring over. Maybe V should know that this might just be permanent thing in the end. Only time will tell.]
Which bears the question, [she thinks about it; just remembering] can you cook?
//Spam mk II//jumpscarSeptember 10 2008, 18:03:19 UTC
You're obviously slacking then. [Making a note each step of the way. It may've been easier to ask what wasn't to go, considering it was a bedroom to bedroom transfer right then.]
I can, but I don't. [Eight years of being able to pick up takeout from the country of origin kind of put an end to the need.]
//Spam mk II//marsattackedSeptember 10 2008, 18:09:45 UTC
Could've been the fact that you were gone for awhile. Meant that there was no one to use the nicknames on. [Finished with her walking around the room. There's not a lot in the first place. Just really the bed, and the lamp and a few odd things here and there. Actually, it might as well be the whole room. There's more stuff to move than not.]
Bet Jumping makes it a whole lot easier to feed yourself. [Veronica looks amused. Raises a brow at him, as her tone becomes teasing.] I wouldn't mind that. "David, Italian. David, Japanese. David, Moroccan. Hey All-Star, how about some food from Kazakhstan?"
[Stood inside the door to her apartment ...because I'm assuming he'd know where it is after the other log.]

[He looks round, noting how there still seems to be a lot left out.]
Only coming for a flying visit?

[Starting to pick up the pre-packed bags]
Want a bit longer to get ready? I'll take these back. [A pause] And your bed.

Sir Jumps-A-Lot? [Eyebrow raise. Really?]
Going to need some directions though. [Namely, where her room was. And of course, what was to go and what was to stay.]
