Marrus, I have always loved your work. I have a 1.5 year old daughter, and we had such challenges breastfeeding. We fought and fought and fought for it to work, and I stopped doing it when she was around 9 mos old. She just wasn't interested anymore (just as it was getting easy for us, of course ;) ).
It was just an amazing, magical, symbiotic time of our lives. It was so hard, but sometimes I would give anything to get back there again, where I had a baby attached to me via my boob, almost 24x7. I'm sure I'll still probably feel that way when she is 30. Words can't accurately convey it.
So thank you for capturing all of this in your piece here. It is just gorgeous! I don't have the resources now to get the original, but I will surely get one down the line in another format.
