... at last count I'm behind two Bones episodes, two Desperate Housewives, two Moonlight's, and a Reaper. Last night the hubby and I finally got caught up on Supernatural.
I actually really think that Jared has quite nicely matured as an actor. The scene where Sam explains he wants to try and give Dean immortality was nicely done by Jared. The way his voice starts out earnest and he just makes it SOUND so YOUNG and LITTLE BOY-ish, you know? And when Dean leaves that scene, you can see how wet Jared/Sam's eyes are - you can tell what he's feeling even if not bawling. So, no, I actually have to disagree with you there, hon! Maybe earlier on in the series, but I think both actors now are doing really wonderful work

Excellent points. Hmmm... maybe it's because he's always mad/sad? Dean's going to hell and he still cuts jokes and checks out the babes once in a while. I don't recall Sammy doing that much, if at all.

Perfectly acceptable *g*
Dr. Benton
That's his name! Thank you.
Why not just cut him up like The Judge on Btvs?
Pretty much what I was thinking :o)
...NOT kill the immortal dude, but instead, bury him alive, never knowing what TRULY happens to him.
Kind of like Pavayne in Hellbound - AtS. As far as I know he's still lurking in the rubble of the Wolfram and Hart building. Suprised I haven't seen any fanfics that attest to that fact.
Also, some speculate that Sam will go back to him for help... I HOPE NOT
You and me both! I told the hubby that the actor who played him looks creepy without all the Frankenstein make-up!
I think the Bela arc was tied up amazingly, as well.I still have

I agree with not understanding the burying alive. Do you watch Torchwood? Because they had a time-travel episode where Jack was buried alive for two thousand years and then dug up again, and I thought about that first thing. That was a really dumb solution because in this day of rapid development, the chances of him getting dug up in a fairly short period of time are pretty good.
I loved Bella getting taken. I hated that bitch, and if I was supposed to feel sorry for her, well, they should have chosen an actress who could play nuanced a little better, because I found nothing redeeming about her to make me open to compassion at the end.
I don't do Wincest either.
I finally got caught up last night to last week's Bones, now I need to watch last night's episode, two episodes of Lost, two episodes of Doctor Who, and I'm still only up to episode ten of last season's Battlestar Galactica. ;-)

Which makes perfect sense if its a sci-fi series.

If his being buried alive is a arc for a future storyline, fine. But if not? So much for continuity.

Oh, I didn't like her either. Don't get me wrong. I'm surprised Dean didn't off her on numerous occasions. I just thought the timing was bad. We lost her just as she got a smidge interesting.
Supernatural was very creepy last week. The actor who played Dr Benton is creepy without all the effects sooooo, yeah. I think it's cool that they buried him alive. It's torture for him like he tortured all those other people. Tit for tat. Or whatever

True. I think I take stuff too literally.
Jared/Sam has definitely improved over the years. He's much more expressive now with just a look.
Maybe I need to compare to previous episodes, eh?
Jensen/Dean is an amazing actor. I love him and his snark and his tortured soul and he's all dark and twisted sometimes.
Right there with you missy!
Which is why I can't wait for the Faith/Dean fic you are writing for us!
Meep!
Bela is done.
That's what I keep hearing. I'm amazed that people hated her so much. Yes, before you ask I wasn't a big fan either.
Just like with Jo. Shame about Jo. I didn't hate her I just didn't think her character was that well thought out. She didn't mesh.
I didn't know this. Kept waiting for her to show up again.
I will admit my shameful secret though...I've become addicted to RPS with Jared/Jensen.
Your secret is safe with me... and um, everyone who reads this post *g*

Thanks
I'm taking WriterCon advice. If I get stuck I back the story up and go into another direction. I'm on iteration #4 at the moment.
