I'm in the same boat with my art page. I still get people doing requests through my profile all the time. A few people I've sent notes to, but I can't be bothered doing that any more as I have a note on my main profile. Thank you :) I'm thinking of moving all my art follows to my fan page as there tends to be so much noise in my main profile! I tend to rss feed the artists I really like as I despise facebook :P
