I was out cavorting with Jonno last night, and we got to discussing a little scheme that made us jump with little hops of joy. I hereby poll my underground community with this proposition, to gauge if there's enough interest to undergo this delightful project:

Actually, I'm glad that you are serious about it, since my charming boss is currently hounding me for some kind of event on Tuesdays. I was considering Topless Tuesdays, or free oral sex with purchase of every ten Irish Car Bombs. Your movie night would be much more to my liking. Please feel free to mention that you and I had already talked about this when you bring it up to da' boss. hint hint.

This is what the Shim Sham is like on a Tuesday, right now... subject to change, I'm sure,
should the movie night take off:

The upstairs bar opens at 9pm, ran by the lovely Deana.
The movie can play simultaneously on the downstairs bar TV as well.
$1 PBR in a can upstairs as always.
$2.50 Guinness Draft downstairs on Tuesdays beginning at 8pm.
Churchy is Tuesday bartender from 2pm-10pm.
I'm on at 10pm.

This all sounds lovely, and timely for everyone involved. After polling people at work last night, and receiving sufficient enthusiasm, I believe I will attack Morgan this weekend with my little proposal. Stay tuned.

i think that this is a marvelous idea my dearest marquis. i come from a rather large latin background from when i was in catholic school. nothing would make me giddier than watching said series and wearing my "good" toga that i made for a school project again. i must confess that i definately wouldnt mind seeing you clad as an emperor as well. please follow through with this, as it will give me yet another excuse to be silly and out of my own little world of fretting about and busting my ass on a skatebourd in the privacy of my own home.
