Rome is wonderful. It will most likely be extremely hot so take care. The men are also something to heed as some of them are rather rude with wolf-whistles and actually following you around until you talk to them.
I wish you a wonderful time! Are you planning to go visit Florence and Venice perhaps? They are out of the way but both worth while in you are going to be in Italy.
Again, have a fantastic time. Travel is by far the best thing in the world for mind, body and soul!
oh yes that is harold...he is 12 :) he is one of the great loves of my life he is... i have heard about men and shall learn to say no thank you before i go... how far do you live from budapest? :)chao dan'a
Good question. Apprx 12 hours. We are in Kosovo at the moment (a year is a long moment;-) and we have to take a bus to skopje, macadonia (which is totally in the opposite direction but rail transport in kosovo is nil and other political considerations suggest that if we travel from Kosovo to Serbia and back without a stamp we would be arrested (not fun). And then we have to take a train from Skopje to Belgrade (Serbia) and overnight from Belgrade to Budapest. So the travel time will actually be longer, almost 20 hours. Owch! But thats what you get with trains.
