Sounds very interesting. I am reading a book right now that sounds like it has some of the same ideas. its "Of Woman Born" by Adreinne Rich. My mother actually studied with her in grad school. It talks alot about motherhood throughout history and how many contributions women have made in society but were not recognized for. It actually talks about Anne Hutchinson and the witch trials a bit and the strong women who scared men in the village.

I would love to read it next.
