I love the voice you give Sandor - how he starts to consider the consequences of his actions but then immediately dismisses convention as BS and does what he wants to anyway.

"'You nearly fell down a few times!' 'No, I didn’t,' Sandor lied" - LOLOLOLOL She SAW you, Sandor! And yet he lies. This cracked me up. :-)

Is the philtre effecting Sansa differently than it is Sandor? She seems so afraid. Neither seems fully under a spell, which is nice, but Sansa seems to be putting more effort into fighting it off.

The steam permeating this chapter was just . . . yum! So hot! I love Sandor-with-a-plan. :-)

What the philtre does in make you fall in love but it won't make you more lascivious or change your way to see things. Sansa is perhaps in love with Sandor but she still retains all her ideals and besides, being a young teenager, it's only natural that sex scares her a little, especially since the man with whom she would do it is more than twice her weight and extremely tall and broad. To make it even worse, they are in her room at night when they’re not even supposed to see each other at all. So it’s not that she loves him less or that the potion is less working for her, simply that she had far more reasons to be nervous than Sandor.

Well first off that was so fucking hot! And they didn't even do anything much!

I love how intense your Sandor is, it's so incredibly attractive to me! He's also kind of a dick here so I'm glad Sansa stuck to her guns......well I'm kind of glad.....

Thanks! I'm surprised no one complained yet at how macho Sandor was in this chapter, I was sure I was going to get scolded big time! And I agree; no need for full on sex for a smut scene to be hot.

I'm so sorry I'm late to the party! Another excellent chapter! Oh the wait is so hard sometimes. What I liked about this one was the time to take to set the scene. How Sandor wobbled in Sansa's balconey, his little bits of irritation over her commenting on his drunkness. I love little bits of dialogue like this:

Little bird,” he muttered, his own voice sounding strangely delighted to his ears, as if the very fact that she existed was astounding to him.

And of course the lying part. Of course Sandor lies, he just ignores it when its convenient.

He was totally throwing a tantrum when she wouldn't go all the way. Poor Sansa! Its like she's a freshman in the back of some senior's car making out in high school. Of course she's going to be scared shitless! He could have gotten what he wanted I think if he just approached her more smoothly. Or at least gotten her to make him come, which seems good enough to me. But I guess that's Sandor and he's too emotionally volatile to play the seducer.

But the books do! He lies to Joff about Sansa's nameday story that she used to save Ser Dontos. He lied to the ferryman. He lied about Sansa giving him a song. It really irritates me when people don't critically read the books.
