Joule says that 302 people all conspired to unfriend me today. Also, there was some kind of error on the "friended by" side.

Anybody else see this?

Problem with LJ, not Joule. It sounds like you checked during the same period of time that everyone on LJ lost their friends list.

was lj giving bogus fdata?

Not sure what was going on past the database issue. It just looked like everyone on LJ decided they hated each other. ;) It was sudden. One moment, both my Friends: and Friend of: lists were empty, and less than a minute later, they were back.
