Sorry, that whole 'media journal' thing kind of crashed and burned. I got uber-busy with work and JETS -_- I had meant to update about going to see Wicked here but never got the chance/didn't really want to spend time doing it. Short story - it was very good and I'm glad I got to see it while it was here ^.^ Not the greatest seats but it was ( Read more... )

But if you have extras, you can always freeze it down for leftovers later when you don't want to cook! That's what I usually do for the massive amount of curry I have left. You can even freeze it flat in ziplock baggies which don't take up space. ^_^

I don't actually trust freezing food I make ^^; Refrigerate in tupperware, yes, freeze...not so much I was even iffy about freezing the leftover meat between making the curry and the nikujagga (since they were a week apart) Do you find that the food is never hurt when you freeze it? (e.g. freezer burn, leaks, can't get it out of containers, etc)

I do eat a lot of curry the week I do make it. I'm also pretty lazy and not terribly picky during the work week, so not having to cook is a big plus for me. =)

Hm, I think leaving food in the freezer for over 2-3 weeks will result in some freezer burn. Or at least it does for me. But curry is pretty resistant to that sort of thing. The plastic baggies work well for me, though I double bag them. I'm sure that tupperware works well too.

Meat is ok to freeze for a while, but I would eat it within a couple months. I would definitely not freeze, thaw, then refreeze again though because that ...doesn't go over well..
