Fun fun. I will also have 'work' at a hospital this summer, only on the other side of the country (Boston). How'd you come across this opportunity at UCLA?

Have fun at Australia!! Try Vegemite! It's love or hate for most people, but it's extremely Aussie, so, if you fancy trying things unique to the places you visit, I'd say that'd be fitting.

Vegemite? My parents tried that and hated it. I heard some story from friends of my parents that some guys wanted to bring that over to America, but the US businessman who would be involved (who was a friend of the friends of my parents, or something) tried some and decided there was no way it could possibly be successful in the states. Not a very credible story, I guess, but entertaining nonetheless.
