Moira's one-month birthday was this past Sunday. On the one hand, it hardly seems like it's been so long, but on the other, it's like she's always been here. Kind of neat ( Read more... )

As Li said, I don't get to go to the picnic. In fact, I had no clue there would be such a picnic existed. ^_^;

As for the cow's milk - I'm positive that Moira will get *plenty* of cows milk by the time she's 10 (I'm something of a milk addict myself) but for now she's too young. Breastmilk and/or formula is all babies get to have until about six months. Doctors even recommend that you don't give them even water for ages.

There's nothing inherently bad about water, it's just that it fills up teeny stomachs without providing any nutrients, as I understand it.

What is your junk email so I can sign you up for formula and diaper coupons(in case you'd need them)?

I don't look at my junk e-mail because my myspace account is linked and some people I didn't want to talk to found me there, so I've abandoned the e-mail address all together. You can send me such useful junk to my gmail address, if you want. Thanks for thinking of me, and for the links. ^_^

I can't wait to meet Moira! ::hopping around:: Also, I'm totally impressed that you're able to express for a pump (^_^). I could never produce more than an ounce per sitting, argh! Hang in there, little mama!

My record is about six ounces, though three or four is more normal. I'm starting to become concerned about it, though, because she's eating about five ounces per feeding, and she'll only get hungrier. I feel like I'm pumping *all the time* just to keep up.
