They don't totally comply with traditional haiku guidelines--most don't have season references, and some don't even have caesuras. But only the purists really care about that...

Which reminds me, there's a hymn which causes instant DL thoughts, as one verse goes:
When in the night I sleepless lie,
My soul with heavenly thoughts supply ;
Let no ill dreams disturb my rest.
*No powers of darkness me molest.* snerk, some people quite like that kind of thing...
