Just a little nudge to say that it is unlikely Jared would use the term litre. Americans generally don't use the metric system, gas comes by the gallon here (i.e. miles to the gallon). :)

No problem, I can't imagine trying to convert every American only term I use into a British term so a few slip ups are perfectly understandable. :)
