[So after going around breaking hearts and fighting evil demons, Sokka has found a new hobby to get his mind off of how annoying Luceti can be. That hobby? Cooking

...there's something wrong with you. [Not that she doesn't do the same exact thing. And this is why you're not getting more of a fit.]

[Sokka will hear disgruntled muttering as the journal is closed. Sometime after her conversation and meeting with Nami, Katara will head on over to the smithy. (It might be fairly late.)]

[Well in that time, Sokka will have entertained a few more people and then headed into the back of the smithy to start working on Brook's sword. When he ears Katara come in though, he'll head to the front. Marvel, if you will Katara, at seeing Sokka actually doing work in the smithy. It doesn't happen often!]

Oh, there you are.

[She'll hear the sound of work as she approaches and enter with preemptive curiosity.]

Whatcha making?

[Sokka will wipe off some of the sweat from his brow as he comes in.]

Fixing, actually. Brook's sword got banged up in that battle, so he needed some repair work done.

[markofthebrave]

[She nods. There's nothing strange in the fact that someone would go to Sokka to repair their weapon. He's been keeping up with his own since they were kids.]

So where's this eel jerky that you've been poisoning people with?

[markofthewise]

I haven't poisoned anyone! [Still, he goes to the counter where he has the stuff covered up, since he hasn't had anyone around in awhile. There's only half a dozen pieces left though. All for his sister to eat, of course.] I think you'll find them actually edible.

[markofthebrave]

[Katara follows him over and stares at the revealed jerky for a moment.] Well they look like the real thing.

[And Katara knows right how to eat them, dipping it in the vinegar and taking a bite.] Not bad, Sokka. [A pause.] Better than nuts.

[All the same she'll finish that one up and start on another.]

[A satisfied Katara? Eating his food? Clearly Luceti is a strange world indeed. He has a satisfied smirk at that. Sure, his food is nothing exceptional, but edible food is still an achievement, right?]

I'd be glad to give you the recipe, of course.

So I get stuck having to make it for you? No thanks.

Actually I think it's Sanji who will get stuck making it. Brook invited us all over for dinner.
