Attending a funeral gives one cause to consider one's own mortality. It included an exhibition of her life, photos from her life and things important to her. If I die unexpectedly before my kitty fursuit wears out (because it has an open-cell foam head, I'm giving it about a 5 ~ 10 year lifespan), I'd love to have all my viable organs donated and be cremated with my suit.

I like that idea. And I think that funerals should be a celebration of life as much as a mourning of death, and this fits right in.
As for plushies? An unsolved conundrum, I think; what do you DO with plushies, when you die or when you tire of them beforehand? Passing them on is a possibility, but it only passes the problem on to someone else. I really have no answer there. :/

Its a question I have often pondered, I know from experience if no one knows what to do with them they either get donated or dumped.
You need a "plush executor" nominated in your will, someone who would know in advance what you want done with your plush.
When I go there are a couple of plush that will have to come with me as I do not want to go out alone.
Silly I know but just a wish.
