I've now formally accepted a job as a graduate trainee engineer with Rolls-Royce, starting on September 18th. The post is in Derby (Midlands), and lasts approx 2 years, after which I am guaranteed further employment. It is a fast-track route to chartered status and the joys of putting silly letters after your name. So it would seem that I shall be
