i am so effing proud of this country right now! i'm proud of it's people. i'm proud that, if only for one moment, enough people could set petty bigotry on "the back of the bus" and make a choice intelligently, instead of emotionally. i know there were a lot of people that couldn't overcome that hurdle, but a majority spoke. people of all race and background stood together. it was a huge step forward, and one that can not ever be taken away. there is no going back from here. i am so happy i was able to be a part of it. i'm still wearing my "i voted" sticker today, and i feel hope again.

i feel so much better about our country now... once again i am proud to be an american! but this time by choice not becuase that is what i was taught!!!

i am going to contribute to the campaign later today and get a t shirt.
