Earthquake.

This morning, I woke with my futon trembling beneath me. Half asleep, half dreaming, I rolled over and unconsciousness swept over me.

I don't know how much time passed before another grumble, another groan and again my futon trembled. I could hear clattering in the kitchen as spatulas and pots jangled in the sink, and I could hear a dull grumble ( Read more... )

The ground is not supposed to move beneath you.

In Australia there are like, no earthquakes. It's almost a weekly thing in Tokyo.

As long as the next big one doesn't hit while I'm here, I'll be happy. Is that really fucking selfish?!

earthquakes are AWESOME, what are you talking about? I was glad it happened, because it means the big one is delayed a bit more.

I hate them. Big ones, small ones. The ground is supposesd to be fucking stable.

There's absolutely nothing 'awesome' about them.
