This morning, I woke with my futon trembling beneath me. Half asleep, half dreaming, I rolled over and unconsciousness swept over me.
I don't know how much time passed before another grumble, another groan and again my futon trembled. I could hear clattering in the kitchen as spatulas and pots jangled in the sink, and I could hear a dull grumble

In Australia there are like, no earthquakes. It's almost a weekly thing in Tokyo.
As long as the next big one doesn't hit while I'm here, I'll be happy. Is that really fucking selfish?!
