I've noticed over the last year more and more of my hotmail advertisements are for dating services. So, to make the seductive women go away I tried changing my birth date from 1974 to 1996 under personal options. Alas, the ads were still flowing in. I found the solution. I changed my sex from male to female. I've only seen one personal. It was ( Read more... )

Do you have a yahoo mail account? Yahoo recently bumped free storage up to 2GB and I get very little spam (what little spam I get goes straight to 'junk' and doesn't impact my storage limit).

I have a couple of free yahoo accounts. I'm reluctant to switch for the following reasons: 1) I can't get yahoo to delete markgro@yahoo.com - I think its one of my old e-mails with a lost password and zip code from the mid nineties. 2) I've had markgro@hotmail for so long that I'm concerned about loosing old contacts. On the other hand I get a lot of junk mail. I think that markgro@gmail.com would look very nice.

LMAO.................. My hotmail is set with my newsletters and friends all listed as safe and I have it flush everything else. Occasionally, if I want to add someone new I ask that they let me know when they email me so I can add them to my safe list. If I sign up for a new newsletter of sorts I check my junk mail about ten minutes later for the welcome email and then add it and tell hotmail it is not junk. I don't get spam.

I have my hotmail account configured in the same manner - exclusive friends list access. The problem I've been having is that with my free account most of the banners I was getting were for dating services.

There is another big drawback with this free account. After switching from Verizon to T-Mobile, Hotmail won't send text messages to my new cell phone. The links to reconfigure are not on the page where they are suppose to appear. I've asked the hotmail staff to fix it but I was provided with an elaborate process which involves contacting my old cellular provider.

Yes it is!

You know what, I thought I saw you the other week, at the Kroger on near Bay Area or El Camino or whatever (can't navigate my way around a bathtub... sorry). Have you grown your hair out?

How has it been going, man??

I did grow my hair out. But its so fine that I have to spend a lot of time in the shower. I shop at the Krogers on El Camino between El Dorado & Bay Area and at the HEB on El Camino at Bay Area. My fiancee and I spend a great deal of our time at her new house. The address is 16011 Fathom Lane. We love to play strategy games like Phase 10, Uno, Chinese train (played with double nine dominoes) and Parchesi. Y'all should come over some time. Call about a day in advance - Mel loves to cook. My cell number is 281-704-3496.
