Isabel. When you read something AU and there are so many layered cognitive connections that your brain goes a bit crazy, then that's AU done right. and all I can say is OF COURSE THAT WOULD HAPPEN. Of course Lucrezia would be around Maegaery, of course Rodrigo would be trying to get Cesare to be in the Kingsguard, and the Borgias would seem like nothing next to the Lannisters in power. And Lucrezia is lovely, as always, and such a contrast to naive Sansa. And I love Sansa here, and the clip-winged bird. If only the Borgias had happened to Westeros!
ANGELICA IS A FAVORITE, YESSSS. I am a part-time baroque art stan and Andrea was so period-perfect in this, from start to finish. (But, like without the weak chins that so many ladies seemed to have) and damn it if every last cap from this series doesn't look like a painting. I just. Have so many feelings about The Devil's Whore. So.
