Favourite Characters in TV Series: Volume One

Been chatting a lot with various people of late about characters and characterisation. Although the chats have been mainly in terms of literature, it got me thinking of my favourites in TV series I watch and why.

And so here is a list of characters from shows I am watching, or have recently watched, to give you an idea of who I like and why. I may

I don't watch any of those (and neither am I able to watch most) However, I will nominate the estimable Dr Ducky Mallard (played by David McCallum) of NCIS, if only for Mark Harmon's line to Cote de Pablo - 'When he was younger he looked like Ilya Kuryakin'. NCIS is, of course, an acquired taste. Like crystal meth.

Is that one of the detective thingy programs? I am a bit lost on them all, although I keep getting told to watch The Wire...

I wrote them all, and they are all fab (except maybe Dollhouse). It's cause you don't watch TV matey, you're too busy doing that...thing...what's it called...oh, yes...writing...

Oh and I think even you would like Dexter, or, you know what? You can read the books instead...

Funnily enough, I read a review of the Dexter books on Neal Asher's blog yesterday.

He liked the first two books, hated the third, and admitted he liked the TV series more.

I've never watched any of those shows, either, haha. Then again I don't watch TV much. :P

Haven't had a TV for about 4 years, but it sounds like you've a taste for a slightly more honourable flavour of magnificent bastard...
