It's all McMahon's fault!

Over the last few days I have been reading quite a bit of stuff from Gary McMahon (around 20 short stories) and apart from my eyes being tender to the touch, he has inspired me to start on my oft-pondered collection.

It is to be tentatively titled Nex, and will be concerned with all things post-apocalyptic. The opening story will be my epilogue

strange that they don't ever pretend to be Solo or O B Wan or Yoda or Darth Vader or Chewie. Just the droids and Skywalker and Leia.

but they were dashing about dueling with imaginary light sabers and Maren wanted in on the action and suddenly they stopped, stumped and said, "but mom, who can SHE be?" and I astutely said, "Duh. Chewie. She can make his noises pretty good." And with that Maren opens her mouth and a surprisingly accurate Chewbacca rowrl comes out. LOL
