Well 2006 was the first year that I laid my resolution plans bare for mockery (and maybe support) and there are a few of you that have been along since day one, whereas others have come in later and seen the end of the year's objectives.

Well here's all of them in glorious technicolour and my thoughts and comments:

Sounds like you had a really good year, all round. Although I wasn't here at the start, I'm glad I came across you're blog, it's one of the things I look forward to when I go online, reading a new post by chucklemonkey. Hope you have as much luck with your resolutions in the cming year!

You hold the distinction of being the only straight Scorpio man I've ever known that I haven't wanted to beat to a bloody pulp and/or strangle within a month of getting to know him.

Great job in 2006, btw.

Thank you for introducing me to eneit. The two of you have enriched my days and given me a sense of connectedness, and for this I'm deeply grateful.

I may have to track down a particular game and send it to you. Not a board game . . . but you'll probably love it anyway.

Here's to a wonderful 2007!

Me straight? I'm convinced I'm a closet bi to be honest.

In terms of enriching lives, you have certainly been one of my highlights of 2006, you are a warm, caring, wonderful human being and I'm so looking forward to finally meeting you in person!

*huge hugs* and looking forward to more of wild_heart in 2007!

Well, Monkey, I don't think I'd consider not having gained weight as a failure. Look at it this way: YOU DID NOT GAIN ANY WEIGHT. That is success.

And since you're such a conscientious father who loves his family, how could not reading more Dickens or more books count as a failure? You read. THAT is success. You read more than probably 85% of the people who know how to read. You're looking at these from the wrong end of the telescope.
