The application for puts me off (I feel no need justify myself to anyone), as does the "more-metal-than-thou" attitude. Plus I don't add people I haven't met in the flesh.

I'm amused their current "theme" is one of my bored-at-work ideas.

Actually, the application is there to stop the 'More-metal-than-thou' getting in.

It is. You only have to take a look at places such as ultimatemetal, blackmetalhorde and the like, with their unrestricted entry, to see how quickly it gets overrun by cockwads.

ultimatemetal, for instance, regularly gets trolled by the type of people who say "I HATE POWER METAL ITS FOR FAGOTS, YOU ARE ALL FAGOTS BECOZ YOU LIKE POWER METAL AND YOURE GAY" etc etc etc. "I AM GRIM AND TR00 AND KVLT AND ELITE AND YOU ARE ALL WEAK!!!" is another favourite. Any replies to the trolls, and there tend to be a lot, generate more of this kind of retardery. Flame wars kick off regularly as well.

And on MC? Not a chance. Not with me around.

In Flames have more in common with Marilyn Manson now that they so with any other Swedes. Pathetic!

I read back through a few entries, and it's interesting, but it's not my kind of thing. I'd actually have to concur almost entirely with Damian on this... plus I don't think I am a funny person, I am shy and serious, so why would they want me. Trying to be amusing always makes me concerned I'm being bloody offensive instead! :P

Thanks for the suggestion though and I will keep an eye on it in case anyone uploads any decent music.
