"Of course!" Mark said happily. He tucked his backpack into his little cubby in the back and clocked in. (He'd be threatened more then once by Joe that if he kept forgetting to clock in he wasn't going to be paid. And Mark needed to be paid! Especially now!) He whistled as he followed Lucas into the Floor - the main, open public part of the store.
"I am happy!" Mark said. "I moved out last night!" Mark paused for a second. "Well, I packed up two garbage bags of my stuff and now I'm staying on Eddie's couch. But that's good!"
"I might look for my own place but that'll be expensive!" Mark says. He's new to this living-on-his-own thing, but not really on his own, and he knew about Eddie talking about having to pay rent, and working two jobs to do it, that it was not cheap!
"Eddie's lease is up next month so we might try to find a two bedroom place!" Mark said, nodding his head to the beat of the music as he put CDs on the shelves. And then Mark giggled. "God, that could be fun!!"
And possibly disastrous. Not that Mark would admit that - not that he's even thought of that.

He grabbed a box of cds that had just come in. "Want to help me put new items away?"

"That is good," he agreed. "Are you looking for a place, or just floating until you figure something out?"
Nothing wrong with floating. Lucas found it the best way to travel.
