How cool! You rock star. The headline is interesting, in that they said 'novelist Mark' instead of 'novelist West'.

Thanks!

With the headline, I've been racking my brains trying to figure out where they got havoc from...

I like the DM T-Shirt! Well done, and the picture could be worse, but you should have given them the one with Sheep and Matthew! ;-)

Cheers, David - I think you're right about the Matthew picture being better!

I got the book on Friday. Thank you! I'll let you know when I read it. I paged through it a bit and found your notes. Thanks, Mark, that will add a lot to the whole experience.

And how exciting being in the newspaper! Wish I could read the article... Your family must be so proud!

Thanks, Kim - that got there really quickly, didn't it? I'm glad you enjoyed the notes and I hope you enjoy the story, I look forward to hearing your comments.

Thanks, too, about the newspaper - yes, the folks are very pleased. Someone, who'd forgotten to put their specs on, stopped my Dad in the street and said "I didn't know you were a writer!".

If you click on the picture, it'll take you to my Flickr page and you can see the photo much larger there. Or try this URL - http://farm4.static.flickr.com/3522/3970999529_f7e090e659_o.jpg

It did get here quickly! Amazing!

And thanks for the link, I was able to read the article there. :)

By the way, does the story have a happyish ending??

Glad the link worked - I didn't think much to the article, myself, but that's probably just me.

As for the story - with a reserved yes, it does have a happyish ending. It's certainly not like the end of the novel!
