A couple of years back, on the 22nd May, I wrote that I’d received a fan letter from Jamie Turner, in Tasmania, that really cheered me up. If you’re interested, that LJ entry is here.

I was a bit skeptical of Facebook but I know what you mean - myself and a whole bunch of people are having a reunion in December of folks who used to go to a heavy metal night every Tuesday at a nightclub about twenty odd years ago! Should be good fun.

Actually, it was reading about your metal night reunion on your blog and FB - and then talking about it at FCon - that inspired me, when one of my long-lost school friends started talking about meeting up. I'm looking forward to it and I hope your night goes well too.

Interesting story about the accident! I love stories. It's so funny your mum kept the stitches! ha ha! That's very sweet.
