Top Eleven Fire Emblem Characters (3)

Archanea gets slagged off a lot for not having "good" or "well-developed" characters.  Er... I'll grant you there are a lot, and I do mean a lot, of characters who didn't have much dialogue save a death quote up until FE12.  And I remain skeptical of the brand of development presented in FE12.

Palla is a great character to see all the BS she goes through, and how everything in her life seems to go wrong, yet she stands strongly against the storms of her life. She's a tragic figure, to be sure, but she seems not to consider herself that way. And that is awesome.

Exactly. And that's why these days I prefer her to Catria. Catria had all these "middle sister neuroses" dumped on her head in FE12. If anything, the Palla-angst was minimized because it looks like FE12 played up the Catria/Marth angle and downplayed the Palla/Abel angle.

Palla's not asking for anyone's sympathy.
