You know you're not allowed to take photos in shopping malls because they don't want terrorists to see the layout. I would have thought the helpful maps they publish would be a bigger help than some photos. Security don't know about my pleasent afternoon taking photos in the basement.

I was in one of the major local supermarkets a couple of years back, and decided to take a photo of a promo display of bananas and eggs for Toby (who at that point was only eating bananas and eggs). I was immediately set upon by the head of security, backed up by two further security guards, who told me it was illegal to take photos in that supermarket, and demanded that I hand over my camera phone.
I refused and called his bluff - not being vital to national security, displays of fresh fruit are not actually illegal to photograph, and he told me to finish my shopping and never come back as he was banning me from that supermarket. Been shopping in there regularly since, and never seen him again, so I suspect they got rid of him once they realised he was barking.

Just bananas and eggs? His bowels must have been in a right state.

I seem to recall he also consumed whisky and fags at the time, so there was some variety.
