Jo rubbed her eyes as the white light faded on them being - fuck, who knew really. Some new place in the same nightmare world that wasn't the same place they'd been seconds ago.
"I'm getting tired of that trick," she muttered, darkly.
At least she didn't have to carry the damn pyramid again and could have both hands on her gun, which was presently being reloaded to full as her gaze flicked sharply around this new location.
Jo was, too. Very. Except that Hell Knock Off World wasn't complying with anything anywhere anytime.
Fucking Delilah. Who's whole helping and telling was blown open.
And what had happened to Alessa? Not that she had any idea where Harry was for reclaiming her, or if she'd be the child he still wanted once the blinders were off.
She snapped the revolver shut with a hard sound as the doors opened.
"Joy. Here, again."
She headed down the hallway, alert for static to sound on the radio, stopping to glance in the first set of windows.
Jack follows close behind, his swords lowered and ready in his hands. Jo stops, and he uses the chance to Read hard into the fog, straining in a way analogous to squinting.
There's nothing to say, right now. Not until there's something to talk about.

There are doors. The doors obviously needed her attention more than anyone else now that the static is gone. Which caused her to pause when she looked down the hallway.

The doors slide open to reveal a hallway of doors, all stained and old. It's almost exactly like the nightmare hospital.

There were five empty key locks on it, but she reached out to try the handle.

"All five will need keys," he says, a little disappointed. Some of these lock set ups only need one to open.
"Up to a treasure hunt?"
