On Saturday, August 16th, Hubby and I bought a car. The old Plymouth Caravan got traded in and will be delivered for junk. We bought a 2007 Chrysler Sebring. It's the most expensive thing we've ever bought. Hubby's starting a new job in a few weeks and his raise pretty much covers the car payment and the increase in insurance. After driving PoS's

no soft top, though that would have been nice. Beyond my safety concerns about having a kid in the back seat of a convertable, having sat in the back seat of a convertible, I don't want to subject Bean to the buffeting of the wind back there.

Cool. I think that I might be in Va in Nov for my high school reunion... I haven't decided yet. It depends mostly on deadlines up here.

Which part is scary, the car, the new job or just the changes?

The car. We'd been talking about it but I hadn't really said to myself "Yep. Let's get another car. We're ready for it." I especially wasn't in the mind set of "Hey! Let's get a new car today!"
