Well, assuming they miss this relatively stationary target, maybe they'll finally stop wasting money on a useless anti-missile system and focus on real security issues. On the other hand, if they do hit the thing then all the Cold War minded yobs in Congress will start clamoring for more funding for Star Wars. I got a bad feeling about this drop, Sarge.
According to the news this morning, the Navy will fire a non-explosive warhead or bullet or whatever they call it at the satellite. I haven't read about the matter extensively but I know that there's been grumblings about the whole Guns In Space angle.
Hehheh, that last sentence has me reading a critique on Starship Troopers at Wikipedia... lol
