but, yes, i agree. elmo pants do require elmo undies. or at least something in reds and blacks.

Mastery has not yet been achieved.
There is an understanding that poop goes in the toilet and that pooping in one's panties is yukky. The actual logistics of poop going directly into the potty, bypassing initial containment in panties or pull-ups, however, haven't been grasped.
There's also the Playground Mulligan. If it's too much fun why bother interrupting the fun for the bathroom?
