I realized two things on Sunday.

1. Deep in my fashion heart, I'm a yankee yuppie.
It's spring. Spring means khakis, madras plaids, and penny loafers.
I feel mildly treasonous.

2. I'm no longer a shoe beggar.
Beggars can't be choosers. For a very long time, the priority quality of a shoe was how cheap it was. Size was important of course but ( Read more... )

I too heart madras plaids. but switch the loafers out for ballet flats.

also your shoe problem is my pants problem. I tried on pants for 2 hrs on sat and walked away with a shirt instead.
