I bought a new desk chair and put it together last night. I have two screws that didn't get all the way flush, even once I unscrewed them and tried them in the opposite holes (that's what she said and also sometimes stuff just works then, kind of like turning a USB key three times to get it in [again, that's what she said]). So now my chair rocks

Wow, thanks for recapping the fashion. I missed the show, but it's nice to see all the dresses here.

It looks like bling is out? Most actresses are not sporting super eye-catching jewelry that screams $$$. Like, most people are not even wearing a necklace, and those that do have very understated earrings. The other trend I spotted was deep plunging necklines. My, everyone has mastered using fashion tape to avoid wardrobe malfunctions.

I must say I'm not into the off-shoulder barely-attached sleeves look (e.g. Sarah Jessica Parker). Those dresses would look much better sleeveless, I think. Of the lower-ranked ones I kinda like Drew Barrymore's dress, though. Evan Rachel Wood is absolutely stunning in that suit. That's the most memorable outfit from this event for me!

I forgot The Golden Globes were even on so thanks for the recap. Some of your commentary was hilarious. Your tone of offense at the real misses was hysterical and this bit had me laughing: This looks like the dress someone in a weird cult wears before they have a water birth. If some of the feather beady shit at the bottom falls off into the water the baby will be blessed with the sight or something.

Great post! You should do this professionally. I think I liked Zoe Saldana's dress a little more than you did, but otherwise it's hard to argue with what you say. Thanks for all the effort you put into this.
