I'm terrified of the dentist. It's a control thing, I think. And also that everyone there wields really sharp, stabby instruments that go in your mouth. I also have wicked problems with my teeth that have plagued me since I was a teenager despite my best efforts to not fuck them up. We weren't able to afford braces for me so I have some gaps

Make sure you ask the dentist if it's okay to mix nitrous and anti-anxiety meds. I wanted to do that once before an extraction and the dentist flipped and said absolutely not.

and this year we had to specifically ask for the manure from the tack sale to NOT be near the loading doors because two years ago the gowns for the fashion show got poopy. HOW IS THAT A THING YOU HAVE TO SPECIFY?!
That made me laugh so hard.
